Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide signature event that unites communities across the country to put an end to arthritis. We aren't just helping the millions of people with arthritis to live better; we're charting the course to a cure.

  • 9:00 AM - Registration/Check-in Open

Event Details

  • Registration: All registered and non-registered walkers should check in at registration to receive their wristbands. Additional walkers are permitted to register on site but pre-registration is highly encouraged. Registration opens at 9:00 AM.
  • Cash or Check Donations: Please hand in at the registration tent when you check in.
  • T-Shirts: Walkers who have raised over $100 will receive event t-shirt.
  • Walk: The 2024 Walk to Cure Arthritis Long Island will take place rain or shine around the beautiful Belmont Lake State Park. It is an easy, safe, and scenic route. You may stay after the Walk concludes to walk further if you are interested.
  • Snacks and Refreshments: A light breakfast of snacks, coffee, and water will be served.
  • Restrooms: There will be restrooms available on the walk site, but no designated restrooms on walk route.
  • Parking: There is ample parking in the large lot adjacent to the Walk site.
  • Dress: DRESS to IMPRESS! Wear your favorite green and purple accessories, bring noisemakers, pompoms, banners and more!
  • MOST IMPORTANT: Come ready to celebrate our incredible warriors and our community! Together we are making a change and taking steps towards a CURE! SEE YOU SATURDAY, MAY 4! RAIN OR SHINE!
  • Dogs on leashes ARE welcome!
