Lisa Day, MSN, RN, CPNP-PC Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Medical Honoree Title Lisa and her family moved to Colorado in 2012. Originally from Pennsylvania, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing. She was commissioned as an officer through ROTC and served eight years as an Air Force nurse in the US, Japan, and Italy. She earned her graduate degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. She has experience in primary care, pulmonology, and perioperative nursing, but has found her passion in pediatric rheumatology at Children’s Hospital of Colorado.
