  • Parking Information: Parking is available at the South High School parking lot (1700 E. Louisiana Avenue) and on the streets around Washington Park on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please do not block resident driveways or intersections, and obey all posted parking signs, or your car may be ticketed or towed! (Note: The Arthritis Foundation and its volunteers/event planners are not responsible for parking ticket(s) or any other violations incurred before, during or after the Jingle Bell Run event.)
  • Dogs Welcome. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend the Jingle Bell Run, however, we recommend leaving your amazing friend at home if they are showing any signs of respiratory concerns or a cough. We want all our participants, both 2 and 4-legged, to have a safe and healthy experience at our Jingle Bell Run. Please ensure your pet is on leash at all times and dispose of any pet waste in the Park's trash barrels. As a pet parent, you are responsible for complying with all Denver Park and Recreation policies. The Costume Contest will include a Dog Division, so be sure your pup is dressed to the nines.
  • Strollers Welcome. Runners or walkers pushing a stroller are more than welcome to join us on race day and line up at the start line.
  • Course Information: The 5k course winds around the interior of Washington Park. Jinglers will complete one full lap around Washington Park’s Loop Road before racing around Grasmere Lake a second time to the finish line.
  • Award Categories & Top Finisher Information: Awards for overall men’s and women’s finishers, as well as top finishers in each age group, top individual and team fundraisers, and best costumes.
  • Finish Line + Expo Area: Jinglers can help themselves to snacks and refreshments, take a tour of the Expo Area vendor displays, and snap a triumphant photo commemorating their 2023 Jingle Bell Run experience! The following vendors will be on-hand at the 2023 Jingle Bell Run:
    • Children's Hospital Colorado
    • Walgreens
    • 303 Running
    • Athleta Cherry Creek
    • Alpha Back Chiropractic
    • Novartis
    • Celsius
  • Kids Zone: Stop by the Kids Zone for Holiday crafts, face painting and snap a picture with Santa or Frosty!
  • Refreshments available: This year we will be offering coffee, a pancake breakfast, and beer garden to all registered participants. Beer will only be served to those who are 21+ years of age. If you plan to have a beer, please be ready to show your ID at registration or beer garden entrance. No one will be served without verification of age with a government issued ID.
  • Weather: Temperatures on race day typically range between 27-43°F, with an average temperature of 32°F at race start. Runners are likely to heat up fast once they get moving, so be sure to dress in layers.
  • Virtual Race Experience: Virtual Jinglers don’t have to be lined up at the start line to be part of the 2023 Jingle Bell Run. To get in on the festive, holiday fun, complete your 5k virtual race anytime before Sunday, December 10 and submit your time here.
