2024 Walk to Cure Arthritis Honorees

Georgia Kopf
Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis
Young Adult Honoree

Georgia was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in both knees just before her fifth birthday in April 2008. Now twenty years old and a junior at George Washington University, her arthritis has spread to her ankles, hips, hands, wrists, elbows, neck, and jaw. Georgia has worked to maintain an active lifestyle despite her pain and has dedicated herself to pursuing a career in the medical field to help others like her. As an Advocate for the Arthritis Foundation, Georgia fights to ensure fair health care laws for all patients with arthritis. She can’t wait to see you at the Walk!
