Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide signature event that unites communities across the country to put an end to arthritis. We aren't just helping the millions of people with arthritis to live better; we're charting the course to a cure.

Event Schedule
Saturday, April 20, 2024
- 6:00 AM - Volunteer Arrival & Check-in at Main Zoo Gate
- 7:00 AM - Participant Check-in/Day-of-Registration: Zoo admissions ticket and information
- 7:15 AM - Zoo Gates Open - please gather near Marketplace Gift Shop
- 8:00 AM - Opening Announcements & Final Fundraising Appeal at Water Fountain
- 8:10 AM - Warm-up activity at Water Fountain Starting Line
- 8:15 AM - Start "Walk the Warrior Way" (approx. 1-mile route)
- 8:30 - 11:15 AM - Water's Edge: Sponsors/Vendors/Music/Kids' Activities/FREE Pizza/T-shirts available for pick-up/Carousel rides while tickets last
- 9:20 AM - Closing Remarks & Meet Our Youth Honoree, Rosie, in the Champion's Corner
- 10:00 AM - Pizza provided by LaRosa's Pizzeria of Dublin
- 11:15 AM - Walk to Cure Arthritis Ends – Enjoy the Zoo for the rest of the day
- 12:00 PM - Water's Edge Closes
- 5:00 PM - Zoo Closes
