The Arthritis Foundation is pleased that Lou Sipolt, Jr. former radio personality and TV host will serve as emcee for the Walk on September 16. After 26 years in radio, he made a switch to television on CWIowa23 and can now be seen on Local 5 (ABC). 2023 will be Lou’s 38th year in Des Moines media.
In 2021 he was honored as one of CITYVIEW’S 20 from 2020 business people who made a difference. In 2022 he was featured in an article called “Media Icon is also Community Hero” also in CITYVIEW.
Lou is involved in MANY organizations as a Board Member of the Blank Park Zoo, Board Member of Rock In Prevention, Vice President of the Dirt Truck Racing Association and is a huge advocate of animal organizations including the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, AHeinz57 Pet Rescue & Transport, The Iowa Wildlife Center and more!
If he were not in television, you would find him involved with something animal or motorsports related!
