Laura Stomber
Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis
Adult Honoree

Born New Jersey – Laura has always had a zest for the outdoors and challenges. She truly learned what challenges were when she was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in 1988 and at the time was the youngest child to be diagnosed in the state of New Jersey. Her parents pushed her in new ways and allowed her to be in any sport she felt well enough to participate in. Laura has never shied away from the constant challenges and continues to push herself. Currently, Laura serves as the Director of Sales for the Rock at La Cantera and resides in downtown San Antonio with her dog, Charlie. She is looking forward to her continued work with the Arthritis Foundation and looks forward to continuing building an amazing support network here for those affected by the disease.
