 Olga Kromo, M.D. Dr. Kromo is a rheumatology specialist in South Miami, FL and has over 17 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Kromo has extensive experience in Osteoporosis & Screening. She graduated from University of Miami School of Medicine in 2005. Dr. Kromo is the Founder and Medical Director of Rheumwell which offers leading-edge care for joint pain, arthritis, muscles, lupus, vasculitis, dermatomyositis, and connective tissue. She also serves as the Medical Chair for the South Florida Arthritis Foundation Leadership Board. Dr. Kromo understands the struggles of patients who suffer from rheumatic diseases. It is her care philosophy to listen to every patient’s needs, evaluate them properly, and provide them with life-changing treatments.

Dr. Haleem Mohammed serves as Chief of Business Development at PhysicianEstate. He is a former stockbroker and Vice-President of Investments who went on to graduate from Universidad Iberoamericana medical school and received his MBA from the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Mohammed completed residency at a Top 100 hospital in Chicago, is board certified in internal medicine, has held medical directorships at various hospitals, and most recently served as the regional medical director of an award-winning Medicare Advantage provider in Miami. In his downtime he enjoys boating, biking, target shooting and is a terrible golfer. Dr. Mohammed is proud to support the Arthritis Foundation and serve as the Corporate Chair for the 2023 Jingle Bell Run Miami. 
Lee D. Kaplan, M.D., is the Director of the University of Miami Sports Medicine Institute. He is a tenured Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and holds faculty appointments in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Kinesiology and Sports Sciences. Dr. Kaplan serves as Medical Director/ Head Team Physician for the University of Miami Athletic Department and Medical Director for the Miami Marlins Baseball Team. He also serves as an Orthopaedic consultant for the Pittsburgh Steelers. 
Niloufar Firoozi-Badoorally, Nilou, is half Persian and half Mauritian and was born and raised in Miami. After countless doctor visits, blood tests and early symptoms starting back in 2017, she was finally diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in May of 2021. Nilou has been on numerous medications but has not yet found the right treatment. Up to 20% of patients don’t get adequate relief from available medications and these so-called “refractory” cases are a focus of research for the Arthritis Foundation.
Anastasia was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis (JA) last year at the age of 2, after experiencing knee swelling and limping. Her family is grateful to Dr. Sterba and the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital team who have provided amazing care and support navigating this diagnosis.
