Dr. Paul Tuttle
Adult & Pediatric Rheumatologist
Medical Honoree


Dr. Tuttle, a physician and owner of Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University. He then went to medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency at Saint Louis University, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a combined fellowship in adult and pediatric rheumatology. Dr. Tuttle is Board Certified in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Tuttle and his wife, Allison, have five children. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor photography, hiking, and medical missions.

 

Adalyn
Poly Articular
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Youth Honoree


Adalyn was diagnosed with poly articular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) at 18 months old. Her arthritis initially affected six joints. She has also had several bouts of uveitis which is associated to her JIA diagnosis. She has been on several medications including eye drops. Adalyn remains a very active 10-year-old participating in Girl Scouts, softball, Taekwondo and dance. Adalyn has built many relationships by attending Arthritis Foundation family events, national JA conference and Camp MASH and takes pride in being an Arthritis Foundation advocate!
