2022 Jingle Bell Run Honorees

Saimun Singla, MD
Rheum to Grow
Medical Honoree

Dr. Saimun Singla is board-certified in general pediatrics, pediatric rheumatology, and one of the few pediatric subspecialists in the country who is fellowship-trained in integrative medicine. Her journey is unique because she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis AFTER becoming a rheumatologist. Her pain points as both a patient and doctor led her to found Rheum to Grow, a medical practice for kids with rheumatic diseases that uses an integrative approach to optimize each child's acute and chronic care needs. She resides in Houston with her husband and three children.

Weston Schuster
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Youth Honoree

Weston is 8 and was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) in 2019 when he suddenly started having joint pain and trouble walking. These days his JIA doesn’t stop him from being the typical boy; he loves playing flag football, baseball, and playing Fortnite. He has a big heart and will talk your ear off if you let him.

Join or support Weston and his team, Weston’s Rockin’ Reindeer, on his personal fundraising page.
