Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide signature event that unites communities across the country to put an end to arthritis. We aren't just helping the millions of people with arthritis to live better; we're charting the course to a cure.

Event Location

NEW THIS YEAR - University Yard at George Washington University
2000 H St NW (between 20th St NW & 21st St NW)
Washington, DC 20052

Parking: Street parking is available around University Yard along 21st St NW, H St NW, I St NW, G St NW and 20th St NW. Payment should not be necessary since Walk to Cure Arthritis is on a Sunday. Additionally, there is garage parking underneath Western Market. The garage is called Colonial Parking and the address is 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20006. The entrance is on 20th St NW between H St NW and Pennsylvania Ave NW. This parking is available for $12 for the day.

Restroom Information: Public restrooms will be located in the University Student Center (800 21st St NW). Additional restrooms are located inside Western Market (2000 Pennsylvania Ave NW).

Event Schedule

  • 9:00 a.m. – Check-in and day of registration (pick up shirts, resources tables, music, team meet up, kids activities)
  • 10:00 a.m. – Stage program begins
  • 10:20 a.m. – Walk starts
  • 11:00 a.m. – Head over to Tonic at Quigley’s for their amazing brunch and enjoy our special Rock the Walk cocktail to help us keep the fundraising going!
Walk Incentives
  • Each INDIVIDUAL that raises $100 will receive an official 2022 Walk T-shirt (while supplies last).
  • Additional incentives for those who raise over $250. Participants will receive certificates to redeem their WTCA item approximately 4 weeks after the walk.
