Sherry Duquet
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Adult Honoree

Speaking from a place that many others may also find relatable, Sherry described: “The day I was diagnosed with rheumatoid disease, I left the rheumatologist feeling broken and afraid.” Determined to find a way to move away from these feelings of despair, Sherry connected with the Arthritis Foundation the very next day. She shares that the connection immediately helped her feel supported by others who understood what she was experiencing. She knows that having a degenerative disease can feel isolating. Sherry says, “The Arthritis Foundation has shown me that I will never be alone on this journey and that helps me stay strong. That is why I am so proud to Jingle and serve as the Adult Honoree.”

Lily Robles
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Youth Honoree

Lily was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis at 10-months-old. She has suffered flares, but mostly manages her arthritis through weekly methotrexate injections. Lily doesn’t let arthritis define her. She plays competitive golf and is a cast member in local performance group, ‘The Entertainment Revue.’ Lily first performed at 3-years-old at the Jingle Bell Run and recently had the honor of performing The National Anthem for the Tampa Bay Rays. Lily would like to put a face to JA and to help create awareness. She also hopes to inspire other children battling JA to stay positive and not let your disease define you.
