Peyton Walmsley
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Youth Honoree

Peyton was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) at age 2. She would stop walking or weight bearing for periods of time and after her diagnosis, began methotrexate. Like many children with juvenile arthritis, Peyton has been presented with many obstacles at a young age but continues to shine a light of positivity! At age 7, she educates others on what JA is and what it means. Peyton and her family have met amazing people in the JA community through Arthritis Foundation Family Days. Peyton is so excited to help fundraise for this year’s walk and share her story!
