Francisco Velazquez
Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Youth Honoree

Francisco was diagnosed with systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (SJIA) in 2019. He’s now 10 and loves to read, skate and DANCE! He battled fevers, rashes, limited motion, and pain for months. It was a challenging time, but the family focused on Francisco living a full and happy life. During their journey, the family found the Arthritis Foundation. They say, “It was reassuring to have an advocate who guided our family. They were there for us during the most difficult time.” Francisco is participating in the Walk to Cure Arthritis to raise funds for the 300,000 children with arthritis and he’s proud to be Youth Honoree!

Join or support Francisco and his team, Francisco's Warriors, in the fight against arthritis!
