Keira was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis shortly after her 1st birthday. She is a courageous and high-spirited little girl who took to walking at the age of 7 months but one morning, her mom realized she was having a hard time walking and getting out of bed. Despite a severe limp, she never cried or complained. She was diagnosed with HLA-B27 and uveitis. Despite countless days of flares, pain and discomfort, Keira continues to fight daily with a smile! Keira and her family are thankful for the Arthritis Foundation and Farmington community with understanding and support for her fight.
