Rosa is living life to the fullest as a rheumatoid arthritis warrior. She was diagnosed in 2017 after several doctor’s appointments. Rosa was able to begin managing her pain by consulting with rheumatologists and taking medication. Today, Rosa is mostly pain free, thanks to the care and support she received.
Rosa has even achieved a long-term goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon. Four years ago, she never would have that this would be possible. Some days it was so hard to get out of bed. She knew it was serious but couldn’t find the words to explain how bad her pain truly was.

Emily diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 1. Before that day, Emily parents didn't know that kids get arthritis too. The discovery happened in a whirlwind of a day. After already knowing how to walk, Emily suddenly refused to do so and would only crawl. Naturally, her parents came to investigate and found her ankle stiff and wouldn't bend.
