Ila McElfresh

Ila McElfresh was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis as a young child; Ila is now 9 years old and her mom, who is an orthopaedic nurse practitioner, will tell you the many ways arthritis slows Ila down, all that Ila has to endure, how her arthritis often prevents her from doing the things other kids her age can do.  But Ila is an energetic and determined girl who wants to be active and pain-free just like other kids her age, and she’s proud to be our Youth Honoree for this year’s Jingle Bell Run.
