Anya is a 13 year old who was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis at the age of 6 years old. Anya had pain and swelling for years while finding medication to help control her arthritis. She has learned ways to deal with the ongoing pain and is now an avid rock climber. She feels strongly about advocating for others living with arthritis since it affects millions in the United States alone.
