Join our team and join the fight to conquer arthritis!

This is the eighth year we have worked hand in hand with the Arthritis Foundation in honor of our ten year old daughter Mackenzie. She was diagnosed in 2012 at age 2 with Polyarticular Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. In the early Spring of 2016 we thought we had our miracle and that she was on her way to remission. All of her medications were stopped and she was doing well. Then in the early part of the Summer of 2016 she relapsed. The remainder of 2016 was extremely hard on Mackenzie as she learned to cope again with the pain and fatigue associated with arthritis and the disappointments of missing out on childhood activities and school when the pain was too much.   Even when her pain is managed with weekly injections and daily oral medications her arthritis still causes her limitations including in school when she is unable to participate in outdoor recess our physical education class with the other students because her body is not able to handle the movement required.  Imagine being ten years old and not being able to play with your friends.

People with arthritis are warriors - they face relentless pain, a frustrating search for a diagnosis, multiple doctor’s visits and treatment, missed work and school, limited mobility, a maze of medical and insurance paperwork, and the desire to live a full life without the limitations that arthritis creates.

Get in the spirit this holiday season! Join our team, tie bells to your shoes, dress in a festive costume and raise funds to help cure arthritis. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of more than 54 million Americans, including 300,000 children like Mackenzie, who face the daily challenges of the nation’s #1 cause of disability.

Our goal is to recruit as many team members as possible to Jingle with us virtually December 11th - 13th to raise awareness and funds to fight and conquer arthritis, all while having A LOT OF FUN! Please join our team so we can share this amazing experience together. Just click Join Our Team.  If you can’t join the team, we’d appreciate your donation to help reach our fundraising goal.
