ONE can make a difference
Due to weather forecasting 100% chance of thunderstorms,we have decided to move the Walk indoors for everyone's safety.
We will make it a morning of games and family fun including Bingo with prizes! Our vendors will still have tables for you to visit, as well as snacks and music. Unfortunately, our four-legged furry friends will have to stay home. Camp Gladiator will lead some low impact exercises you may wish to participate in since we will not be walking outside. There will be a Warrior Wall area to recognize our Arthritis Warriors in the community as we celebrate their strength and courage.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, just at a new indoor location! Safety first!
For 70 years, in ONE community after another across the country, The Arthritis Foundation has taken colossal steps to conquer this crippling disease. Our Walk to Cure Arthritis is the largest arthritis gathering in the world, celebrating our warriors, raising funds for research, resources and a cure. Much more than just a walk event, it’s something even bigger than arthritis itself.
Arthritis affects more than 50 million Americans, including 300,000 children. They are warriors. They face relentless pain, a frustrating search for a diagnosis, multiple doctor’s visits and treatment, missed work and school, limited mobility, a maze of medical and insurance paperwork, and the desire to live a full life without the limitations that arthritis can create.
