As a Ride Your Way member you want to raise awareness and support for the nearly 60 million adults and hundreds and thousands of children living with arthritis. Whether you want to ride your way every year, consider participating in a future tour, or are unable to join us on tour this year, as a RYW member you are Championing the fight to conquer arthritis one climb, one sprint, and one mile at a time.

Ride Your Way Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register for Ride Your Way?

  • Choose your Arthritis Cycling Experience community (California or Carolina) to register and select the virtual ACE Ride Your Way option.

Can I join or form a team?

  • Yes, you can join an existing on-tour team as a virtual Ride Your Way participant or form your own virtual team and recruit family and friends to join you from across the country.

Is there a fundraising minimum?

  • As a Ride Your Way participant you are not required to fundraise, but we strongly encourage setting a fundraising goal that is meaningful to you and have included some ideas below to get started. Plus, you can qualify for awesome gear and earn ​​recognition on the tour and national leaderboards! ​​
    • Celebrating a birthday or anniversary? Ask family and friends to donate X dollars to celebrate the special occasion. ​​
    • Tracking your miles or elevation? Ask family and friends to donate X dollars for every milestone you complete. ​​

Fundraising minimums and on-tour rider numbers*

  • Currently offered for individuals who reached their 2023 California Coast Classic Tour fundraising minimum and are unable to join the 2024 CCC Tour in person. 2024 RYW participants must reach the $3,300 fundraising minimum by August 30, 2024, to maintain their 2023 Tour rider number and status.

  • Emma planned century rides around a community lake and another through a canyon route in Utah
  • Joel organized a North Carolina Outer Banks ride and a Blue Ridge Parkway ride
  • Brian participated in an existing community gravel ride in Oregon
  • William logged miles at a Gran Fondo event and through group training rides with Team Jenn in California
  • Erin logged her miles through her weekly spin class
  • Steve rode across the state of Wisconsin by riding a variety of trails such as the Elroy-Sparta State Trail and Oak Leaf Trail.
