I was diagnosed with Polyarticular Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis about three years ago. My journey has been long and hard but I have been able to overcome many obstacles and adversities in my athletic career of flag football. I have won many tournaments including National, Worlds and the 2024 Florida High School State Championship.  I have been named the 2024 Miami-Dade County Flag Football Player of the Year.

This holiday season, I’m participating in the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run. This family-friendly, fun and festive race raises funds so the Arthritis Foundation can pursue a cure while providing life-changing information, resources and support for people with juvenile arthritis, like me, and their caregivers.
