Marc Gruner is a Mayo Clinic trained Sports Medicine Physician and practices at Aligned Orthopedic Partners and OrthoBethesda. He has trained with the leading experts in ultrasound and regenerative medicine at Mayo Clinic. Additionally, he has received expertise in cutting edge ultrasound guided procedures like ultrasound guided carpal tunnel release. He attended VCOM/Virginia Tech for his joint medical and business degree.

He also is the co-founder of a remote monitoring company for physical therapy and is a consultant for the State of MD developing specialty care value based care models. He is passionate about value based care and non-surgical orthopedic care.

Christina Hudson is a dedicated veteran honored for her exceptional commitment to serving her country. A 23-year Marine Corps veteran in military operations and program management, she has seamlessly transitioned into roles that leverage her discipline and leadership skills. Christina has significantly contributed to health awareness campaigns and various initiatives, showcasing her unwavering dedication to meaningful causes. Outside her professional achievements, Christina is a devoted mother to her her 20-year-old daughter, Saniya, and 13-year-old son, London, and shares her life with her loving partner, Bryan. Brighton Fisher
Ankylosing Spondylitis
Youth Honoree


Brighton is a 17 year old high school student, who is affected by ankylosing spondylitis and enthesitis related arthritis. They have had arthritis since they were 6 years old, they experienced their symptoms through pain and swelling in their knees, hands, and shoulders. They also deal with a large amount of spine pain. Brighton has been involved with the arthritis foundation since they were seven years old, and have helped organize numerous events.
