Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide signature event that unites communities across the country to put an end to arthritis. We aren't just helping the millions of people with arthritis to live better; we're charting the course to a cure.

Event Schedule
Saturday, May 17th, 2025
- 8:30 a.m. - Day of Registration/Check-in Opens
- Expo/Sponsor Area Opens
- Team Tents ready for Team Tailgate gatherings
- 9:30 a.m. - Opening Ceremonies
- 10:00 a.m. – Walk to Cure Arthritis!
- Expo/Sponsor Area remains open
- 11:00 a.m. - Walkers are welcomed back to Expo/Vendor area
- 11:00 a.m. – Closing Ceremonies
Want to be a Walk VIP? If your team raises $2,500 by May 7th, we will provide you with a tent, table, and 2 chairs where your team can meet up and hang out at the Walk. We are also working on special treats for your team to enjoy in the Team Tailgate area. This is a perk reserved for our top fundraising teams, and we hope to see you in the Team Tailgate area.
Frequently Asked Questions about the Walk to Cure Arthritis (FAQs):
Q: How far do I have to walk?
A: There are two options – 1 mile or 5K (3.1 miles). But in all honesty, many people come to the event for the fun and festivities and don’t walk at all!
Q: What is there to do at the Walk?
A: Besides walking, we have lots of fun activities for all ages. Activities will include sponsor booths, music, outdoor lawn games (think ring toss and giant Jenga), face painting, and more! We also will have arthritis information and resources available at the event.
Q: Is there food?
A: Yes! We will have bagels, fruit, granola bars, chips, water, and more!
Q: Does it cost anything to participate in the walk?
A: Registration for the event is free. We encourage everyone to fundraise, and each walker who raises $100 will get a participant T-shirt. You may also qualify for other great prizes as you continue to fundraise.

A: In addition to receiving a t-shirt if you raise $100, click here to see additional rewards you can earn for raising $250 or more.
Q: Is the Walk dog friendly?
A: Yes! We will have a Canine Corner at the event with water and treats for our furry friends. Dogs must be on a leash at all times.
