Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide signature event that unites communities across the country to put an end to arthritis. We aren't just helping the millions of people with arthritis to live better; we're charting the course to a cure.

Event Schedule

Sunday, September 21, 2025

  • 7:00 AM - Event Check-in and information at the ticket plaza 
    • Check-in closes at 9:00am
  • 8:00 AM - Opening remarks, including our Honorees
  • 8:15 AM - Walk Steps Off 
  • 8:30 - Event Day Activities begin! 
    • Activities end at 11:00am with the close of the Walk
  • 9:00 AM - Free Face Painting until 10:00AM
  • 10:30 AM - Basket Raffle Drawing
    • Winners must be present, or another ticket will be drawn
  • 11:00 AM - Walk to Cure Arthritis ends - Keep Fighting for a Cure! 
  • 5:00 PM - Zoo Closes

Event Day Activities:

  • Music, Basket Raffle, Vendors, Arthritis Information, Face Painting

Basket Raffle:

  • Over 10 baskets will be auctioned off. Credit cards are the only form of payment to purchase raffle basket tickets.

More Event Information

  • Parking – It is free!
  • Pets – The zoo does not allow pets. 
  • Donations – Only credit cards will be accepted the day of the walk. 
    • If you have cash donations, please convert cash to a check. 
    • If you have check donations, please mail those to:
      • Arthritis Foundation, c/o AF Cleveland WTCA, 1355 Peachtree Street, Suite 600, Atlanta, GA 30309.
  • T-shirt – Raise or donate $100 to earn your Walk to Cure Arthritis T-shirt.
  • Walk Route – It is a one-mile route winding through the zoo.
