Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide signature event that unites communities across the country to put an end to arthritis. We aren't just helping the millions of people with arthritis to live better; we're charting the course to a cure.
***The walk is taking place rain or shine - we have indoor space for all activities.***
Walk to Cure Arthritis Philadelphia Region will be set up inside the Health and Sciences building at Montgomery County Community College. It is building next the area where the walk is typically set up outside. All pre-walk activities will be inside. We will set up the walk route and hope the weather cooperates and enables us to walk outside tomorrow, 6/7. However, we will err on the side of caution if the threat of thunderstorms and rain persists. You are welcome to bring your ponchos, umbrellas, etc. to walk outside if it is just a light rain with no threat of thunderstorms.

Saturday, June 7, 2025
9:00 a.m. - Walker check-in and registration open; entertainment & attractions begin
10:00 a.m. - Strut Your Mutt contest
10:30 a.m. - Opening ceremony and Walk Start
10:50 a.m. - Pre-Walk Warm up
11:00 a.m. -Walk steps Off
11:15 a.m. - Walk festivities continue
12:00 p.m. - Event ends
Event Information
Registration: All registered and non-registered walkers should check in at registration. To ensure a quick registration for all, please be sure everyone you are coming with is registered prior to arriving.
Cash or Check Donations: Please turn in donations at registration. All checks should be made payable to Arthritis Foundation with your name in the memo of the check.
T-shirts: Walkers who raise $100 or more will receive a 2025 event t-shirt. Walkers who make a donation on-site will have the opportunity to receive a t-shirt at the end of the event if supplies are still available.
Attractions: Kids Zone featuring friendship bracelet making, games, and temporary tattoos, Sponsor Expo, Mission/Advocacy tent, Strut Your Mutt Contest, and more!
Walk Route: 1 mile loop. For a longer route, walk as many times as desired.
Snacks and Refreshments: Light snacks, fruit, and water will be provided for all walkers.
Restrooms: Bathrooms are available inside the Health Sciences Building.
First Aid: First Aid supplies will be available at the registration table. Please remember to bring your own sunscreen, dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
Dog Rules: Dogs are permitted if they are on a leash and please remember to clean up after your pooch!
