Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide signature event that unites communities across the country to put an end to arthritis. We aren't just helping the millions of people with arthritis to live better; we're charting the course to a cure.

Event Schedule

Saturday, April 26th, 2025

  • 9:00am - Walker check-in & registration 
  • 9:30am - Opening ceremony
  • 9:45am - Bouncing Bulldogs performance & warmup with Ivy Rehab for Kids
  • 10:00am - 1-MILE WALK!** See below for more details.
  • 11:00am - Post-Walk raffle, music, face painting, yard games & mingling!
  • 12:00pm - Event ends and participants depart

**1-Mile Walk Route: Enjoy a 1-mile walk through the heart of Fenton, passing charming storefronts and lively boutiques. Then, soak in the tranquility of the tree-lined pathway as you loop around the back of Fenton and return to your starting point! Click here for Walk route and site map.

Event Details

Location: Fenton in Cary, NC - 201 Fenton Gateway Drive, Cary, NC 27511 (right outside of Paragon Theater)

Parking: There are several FREE parking options at Fenton. Feel free to park behind Superica restaurant, in the Blue Parking Deck or the Green Parking Deck. There are several other parking areas around The Fenton, all with easy access to where the event will be set up. More parking details here.

Registration: All individuals who are attending the event need to be registered. To ensure quick registration for all, please be sure all your teammates are registered prior to arriving. The link to register is www.walktocurearthritis.org/triangle. All registered and non-registered walkers should check in at registration.

**Only walkers who have raised $100 or more will receive an Arthritis Foundation Walk t-shirt. Walkers who make a donation on-site will have the opportunity to receive a t-shirt at the end of the event if supplies are still available.  
 

T-Shirts: Walkers who have raised $100 will receive an event t-shirt. 

Team Captain Gift: Stop by the Registration tent to claim your special gift.   

Donations: Flyer with a QR code will be available at the Registration table for those who wish to make a donation. Unfortunately, we do not accept cash.  

Attractions: Kids Zone, Mission/Advocacy tent, vendors, food trucks, yard games, face painting, music & more! 

Passport: You will receive a passport at registration, visit each vendor to be entered to win a $50 Fleet Feet gift card after the Walk during Closing Ceremony! *Must be present to win. 


Entertainment: Put on your dancing shoes! DJ Eric from All Around DJ will play the hits while we get ready to walk.

Snacks and Refreshments: Light snacks/ water will be provided and Carriage House Coffee and My Tartine Food Truck will be on-site! There are also several restaurants in the area and we encourage you to explore and support businesses at Fenton after the Walk. 

Restrooms: Restrooms are available on-site next door to Paragon Theater. 

Dogs & Strollers: Dogs and strollers are permitted. Ensure your pup is on a leash and please clean up after your pooch!  

 

MOST IMPORTANT: Come ready to celebrate our incredible warriors and our community! Together we are making a change and taking steps towards a CURE!
