Hannah
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Youth Honoree
Hannah was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) at just 8 years old after experiencing a swollen and stiff knee. Later, she was also diagnosed with JIA in her jaw and fingers. Since then, she has bravely managed her condition with weekly injections and oral medications—allowing her to keep doing the things she loves and live life to the fullest!
Now 16, Hannah is an active, vibrant teen who enjoys playing volleyball, lifting weights, and managing a Destination Imagination team. She also participates in theatre and Model United Nations, holds the title of Miss Cherry Creek’s Teen, and proudly serves as a Youth Ambassador for the Arthritis Foundation. Through her platform, Hannah shares her story to raise awareness, advocate for JIA research, and inspire others living with arthritis.
Join Hannah and her team, Walking on Sunshine, as they take steps toward a cure and support the fight against arthritis! |
