Event Information

The Arthritis Foundation's Run/Walk to Milwaukee Irish Fest is a 5 kilometer run and walk along Milwaukee's beautiful lakefront. The event unites the community to put an end to arthritis. Irish Fest is the largest Irish festival in the world, celebrating Irish heritage with music and food. Join the 5k run and raise funds to help the millions of people with arthritis to live better; help chart the course to a cure.

City of Milwaukee parking is available along the lakefront. Parking is not guaranteed, and we do not have special event permits for participants or volunteers.

Saturday, August 16 2025

8:00 a.m. - Day of Registration, Packet Pick-up and Kidzone Opens
9:00 a.m. - Rally Speech and Cashel Irish Dance Academy
9:45 a.m. - Pre-Race Warm-up
10:00 a.m. - Run Begins
10:05 a.m. - Walk Begins
11:00 a.m. - Post-event Celebration and Award Ceremony with More Dancing & Music
12:00 p.m. - Milwaukee Irish Fest Gates open

Day of registration will be available (August 16) from 8:00 - 9:45 a.m. However pre-registration on-line is highly encouraged as t-shirts may run out prior to event day registration.

Warm-up and stretch session before the race
FREE admission into Milwaukee Irish Festival - Participants and volunteers should visit the wristband tent BEFORE the race starts. Wristbands will be distributed to volunteers on the list and participants with bib number. Please note wristbands will not be available after the race.

MKE Bars & Rec Food Truck will be on site for your breakfast needs!
