Vanessa was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis March 23,2012, at the age of 41. She knew something was wrong when she developed a severe limo and was limited with the use of her hands. Her symptoms rapidly worsened which ultimately left her unable to walk with limited mobility of her hands  She has allowed her diagnosis to catapult her into the unique cutting edge transparency advocacy journey that she is known for today.
