Dear Friends, Family, Colleagues & Patients,
As many of you know firsthand, the pain from arthritis can make simple, everyday tasks a struggle and interfere with quality of life. So many people - of all ages - face physical limitations and countless challenges because of the disease.
I feel fortunate that in my career at Resurgens and through organizations like Mercy Care and Operation Walk, I’ve had the opportunity to help many arthritis patients regain quality of life through total joint replacement. Seeing someone return to normal activity after suffering is tremendously rewarding.
Unfortunately, many with arthritis are not candidates for such a procedure. They cope daily with pain, interference in their work and strain in relationships.
For my patients, family members and all those who bravely face arthritis, I’m honored to participate as the Medical Honoree of the Walk to Cure Arthritis on Saturday, May 4. It’s the largest gathering of the arthritis community in the world, raising funds for resources and research, to find better treatments and a cure.
I hope you’ll consider joining my team as a walker or with a donation of any amount. For everyone who walks, I'll donate another $25 - which will be matched by the Resurgens Charitable Foundation. Your participation will automatically raise money for Arthritis research and awareness.
