I invite you to join us as we raise awareness and funds for arthritis with this years CCC ride! This incredible event is the largest gathering of the arthritis community in the world, 250 of us will be riding down the coast for 525 miles in September. We strive to raise standards, ride to support the arthritis community, raise funds for resources and research, to find better treatment, and a cure.
The arthritis community faces limitations and challenges like getting properly diagnosed (it can take years for some cases, like mine), multiple doctor’s visits and treatments, a maze of insurance procedures, missing school or work, being unable to perform normal, everyday tasks or enjoy favorite hobbies and activities.
We, at the Arthritis Foundation, are committed to conquering arthritis for the nearly 60 million Americans, including 300,000 children, who live with this debilitating disease's daily pain and challenges. Everyone can make a difference in the battle. Through your support, the arthritis community nationwide will gain access to tools and resources to better manage their disease and the opportunity to connect with others who are also fighting this disease. There are more than 100 types of arthritis, but no cures yet. Your donation will make an impact through research to find better treatments and breakthrough where it matters most.
- Help us address the shortage of rheumatologists by funding new fellowships
- Help us advocate to remove barriers to care: high costs of treatment, difficulty accessing medications and more
- Help advance research to discover better treatments to reduce arthritis pain and increase mobility
- Help address the needs of the 300,000 kids diagnosed with arthritis, and their families, through educational opportunities, camps and other resources
- Help provide educational materials and online information so that 1 in 4 Americans with arthritis can fight back against this disease
PS: The Arthritis Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and is used where it's needed most!
I’ll forever be grateful to the Arthritis Foundation for providing resources and access to this community of remarkable and inspiring people. Thanks for being here & I’ll leave you with this: “Do it for those who can’t & lead the way for those who can.”
