Hello Friends,
Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraiser page.
In 2014 I committed to riding my bike 525 miles to help make a difference and to help the Arthritis Foundation find a cure for juvenile arthritis. I committed because my grandson was diagnosed with JA that same year. I have participated in the event every year since. So, when I leave the start line on Sept 30, 2023 it will mark the 10th consecutive year that I will be riding the 525 miles from SF to LA in his honor and for all kids suffering with this horrible disease.
Carter was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis when he was only 4 years old. He is now 12 and thanks to the people at The Arthritis Foundation he is doing much better then he was in the beginning but we are still fighting for a cure for Carter and for kids like him. Did you know that there are over 300,000 kids in the US like Carter who battle JA every day? I didn't until my grandson was diagnosed with it.
I believe a cure is just around the corner but we need your help so I ak that you join with me in my quest to help find that cure. You can do so by donating today in Carters honor below.
I'm "Just a grandpa who's grandson has arthritis" and I'm riding and fighting to make a difference. Will you join me?
Thank you,
Jerry
