Dr. Robin Dore is a private practitioner in Orange County, California. She also holds an appointment as clinical faculty/clinical professor of medicine, clinical instructor in rheumatology with the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Dore is a board certified clinical densitometrist by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry and holds a Master Designation from the American College of Rheumatology (MACRDr).


A clinical investigator, Dr. Dore participates in research studies and investigated multiple phase trials for more than 30 years on osteoporosis, bone mineral density and rheumatoid arthritis and more. She writes regularly for peer-reviewed journals on relevant treatment options and related nutrition subjects.


Dr. Dore is past president of the California Rheumatology Alliance, Southern California Rheumatology Society, Board of Directors for United Rheumatology and the American College of Rheumatology. In 2015, she was named Healthcare Professional of the Year by the National Arthritis Foundation. In addition, she has had multiple notable recognitions through the years for her humanitarian efforts, distinguished service and excellence in both community and professional education. As a lifetime Girl Scout, Dr. Robin Dore is also committed to educating girls and young women about the importance of healthy lifestyles. As such, se developed Bone Builders, a program to inspire osteoporosis prevention.


Dore has been committed to the California area for her own personal education, having graduated with her undergraduate degree from Pomona College; medical degree from University of California, Irvine; internship, internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship from the UCLA Medical Center. She keeps active memberships with the American Medical Association, ASBMR, California Medical Association and the Orange County Medical Association and has been active with the local Arthritis Foundation.
