The Carolina Hills Classic: 4 epic days in the Blue Ridge Foothills

We’re riding for a world where people with arthritis live a life without limits.

Join the Carolina Hills Classic, a fully-appointed and e-bike friendly road cycling adventure nestled in the foothills of the unmatched beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Fundraising from this event fuels Arthritis Foundation advocacy, scientific research and life-changing programs. You'll experience the best that Asheville and Greenville have to offer -- winding roads, a vibrant arts scene, and the welcoming hospitality of the Southeast.

Each day’s ride brings new delights such as rushing waterfalls, picturesque bridges, and scenic vistas, as beginner and experienced cyclists pedal in and between North Carolina and South Carolina. This self-paced late spring adventure is a premium cycling experience that includes nightly hotel accommodations and entertainment in addition to our standard bike tour offerings.

Join us in a mecca for cycling May 14-17, 2026, and experience first-hand why Greenville was named one of the "Best Road Cycling Weekend Getaways in North America" by Velo Powered by Outside, and why Asheville is continually recognized for its outdoor adventures, cuisine, and arts community.

Review Event Information for additional details such as schedule, mileage, rider package, frequently asked questions and more. On-tour rider registration is limited to those who commit to a fundraising minimum*. We provide you with the fundraising tools and support to help you engage your family and friends to reach your fundraising goals. The Arthritis Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Arthritis is a thief, stealing everyday joys, long-term dreams, and even independence. There are more than 100 types of arthritis and related conditions that affect people of all ages, genders, and races, and is the leading cause of disability in the United States. The Arthritis Foundation is working to overcome the obstacles that arthritis creates for nearly 60 million adults and hundreds of thousands of children.
