Youth Honoree

Isabella Elena Gunn lives in Clovis, CA with her parents Shane and Bianca, and her twin sister Marisol. She was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis at the age of three. Isabella has experienced her share of medications, from liquids to pills, to injections and infusions to combat the pain she lives with daily. In elementary school played soccer, basketball, cheerleading and tackle football. When she started high school Isabella found her true passion in the water and began her swimming journey. As a senior at Sanger High school she was able to show and sell her bunny Cinnabun while participating in the FFA program and will graduate as one of the first members of the Biomedical pathway. Isabella is planning to continue her education at Fresno State University and become a nurse. If she's not at school you’ll find her home baking sourdough or desserts, during the summer she coaches swim to four and five year olds with the Sanger Seals recreation program. This will be her second year participating in the Central Valley Walk to Cure Arthritis and is looking forward to an outstanding event!
