This right here! Absolute magic! This was "the moment" when it all hit me. Yes, the Bixby Bridge is a memorable milestone along the CCC, but let me tell you, this pic doesn't quite catch the full vibe – the perfect weather, the daily accomplishments, amazing food, instant friendships, laughter, (OMG, the laugher!) our deep sense of purpose, my overflowing emotion. Trust me, it was more than a moment; it was the ride of a lifetime!

I love this event! I have so many Arthritis Ride stories from over the years that my family and friends have learned to run when I get wound up and start storytelling. The ride down the coast is fabulous. The scenery is spectacular. The rider support is the best with great food in camp and at the many rest stops, there are great bike mechanics and massage therapists, and we are given great route instructions and road markings. And we are riding for a great cause and making differences in the lives of both kids and adults with Arthritis. The CCC really is a family of wonderful, friendly, welcoming people. But I don't need to tell you all of this. You've signed up and probably know all of this.

CCC Volunteer
Roger and Roberta Voet
Initially, I started riding to support my wife, Roberta who has Arthritis. After Roberta heard the stories of the lifelong friends, I made at the CCC Tour, she wanted to volunteer, and we've been volunteering together ever since. Each year we look forward to seeing our CCC friends, who we now call our CCC family.

Kyle Berg
What started out for me as an event challenge from family turned into an annual tradition with those who have become my favorite people! I ride to support and improve the lives of the 300,000 kids who suffer from forms of arthritis.

Once my daughter was diagnosed with JIA, I knew I had to do something so I jumped right in. My experience was incredible! From the fellow riders who took me under their wings, the staff, beautiful California scenery and ride support crew, everything was amazing! Staff and riders really took the time to get to know you and your story. Each rider has a different connection to arthritis and as part of this ride, we were riding with a purpose. The connection to this important cause made the journey down the coast much more meaningful.

We enjoyed the ride, the hospitality and the camaraderie so much. We signed up in 2018 as a personal challenge, but after listening to the honorees and talking to others on the ride, we are convinced that we are in it for a much bigger purpose.
