 Bryn was like every toddler, full of energy and joy. Everything changed when she lost her ability to walk, crawl, or sit up on her own. Bryn had fevers, rashes, and painful inflammation in her joints. With no Pediatric Rheumatologist in Alaska, her family moved to Ohio in pursuit of medical care. In Ohio they were provided support when connected to the Arthritis Foundation. They attended JA Family Summit and Family Days. They put “Bryn” in Team Bryn for the last 12 years of the Jingle Bell Run. Not only does she run but she enjoys hiking, biking, and Marching Band Flag Line. Bryn shares hope with others whose lives are touched by arthritis. “You are not alone, and it does get better!”

Tina is thrilled to be involved with the Arthritis Foundation and humbled to be this year's Jingle Bell Run Adult Honoree. Last May she struggled to walk 1/8 of a mile due to severe foot and back pain. Diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis last October after years of pain and stiffness, Tina regained her mobility with the help of her clinical team and an exceptional physical therapist. Since last May she has lost over 170 pounds, learned to manage her symptoms, improved her condition through nutrition, walked her first Jingle Bell Run and trained to run in this year's event. Tina has a "Yes! We can!" spirit! She loves encouraging people with her overcoming story to help them find their “Yes!” in whatever challenges they are facing.
