Event Information

The Arthritis Foundation’s original Jingle Bell Run is a fun way to get decked out and be festive, while racing to raise funds and awareness to cure America’s #1 cause of disability.

Event Schedule

Saturday, December 7, 2024

  • 7:45 a.m. - Registration and Packet Pick-Up Opens (location - Mandel Center / Education Center, located next to B parking lots)
  • 8:00 a.m. - Festivities Begin
    • Music, Mascots, T-Shirts, Medals, Costume Contests, Arthritis Information, and Team Captain Gifts
    • Stage program with our Honorees, Tina Gier and Bryn Pennington
    • Cocoa, Coffee, and Muffins provided by University Hospitals
    • Vendors - NovaCare, MetroHealth, Tri-C, Cleveland Public Library, Wellness with Winston, and National Sponsor Novartis!
  • 9:00 a.m. - 5K Run/Walk Steps Off

Fundraising Incentives

First 35 team captains to register will receive a gift.**

Teams earning $4500+ will receive 

  • Team sign along the course/route*
  • Team name on top team sign*
  • Team gathering area/table
  • Team name in event day script

Individuals earning $500+ will receive  

  • Personal route sign*
  • Name in event day script
  • JBR goodie bag**

Jingle Bell Run Pricing

5K Timed – Includes shirt and jingle bells.

$45 - Nov. 1 to Dec. 6 at 11:59 p.m.
$50 - Dec. 7 (day of event)

5K Untimed – Includes shirt and jingle bells.

$40 - Nov. 1 to Dec. 6 at 11:59 p.m.
$45 - Dec. 7 (day of event)

1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk – Includes shirt and jingle bells.

$40 - Nov. 1 to Dec. 6 at 11:59 p.m.
$45 - Dec. 7 (day of event)

Virtual Jingler - Can’t attend the event, but still want to be part of the fun? Choose this option to receive a shirt and fundraise for a cure!

$30 - Sept. 1 to Dec. 7 (day of event)

Registration fees and donations cannot be refunded. Your fundraising dollars are put to work immediately and enable the Arthritis Foundation to continue critical programs and services in our community.

Event Day Details

  • Parking is free. Enter Tri-C East from Harvard Road. Park in lots B1, B2, B3
  • This is a cashless event - only credit cards will be accepted on site.
  • Our day of activities, except for the actual run/walk will be held INSIDE.
  • Dogs are welcome at our event, but are not allowed inside any Tri-C building. Since we have an INDOOR space, if you bring your dog, someone in your group will need to remain outside with your dog.  Patio heaters will not be available for participants.
  • Strollers Welcome
  • View Route Map
  • Costume contests for Most Festive Group and Most Festive Individual
  • Finisher medals will be provided to all race day participants.
  • Top 3 participants by gender in 3 categories will be awarded medals.
    • Over 18, Ages 13-17, 12 and Under
  • T-shirts will be provided to all those who select the shirt option and are registered by November 6, 2024.
