Rebecca Green and Heidi Jensen
Agassiz Associates, PLLC
Corporate Honorees

Agassiz Associates, PLLC is a behavioral healthcare practice located in Grand Forks, ND. Our practice was established in 2004, providing assessments, therapy, psychiatric medication, consultations and addiction treatment. Agassiz has a longstanding history of supporting the Arthritis Foundation. At this year’s Jingle Bell Run, we have been asked to bring light to the importance of addressing the behavioral health issues involved in living a life with arthritis. It is a good reminder to us all that taking care of our physical health involves taking care of our mental health. We can do this by learning healthy stress management practices, equipping ourselves with useful tools to manage pain, medical issues and symptoms, and finding ways to navigate complex medical treatments and care teams. We believe in empowering individuals to take note and take care of their mental health. Agassiz is proud to be the Corporate Honoree at this year’s Jingle Bell Run Fargo. Sending a BIG SHOUT OUT to all our Arthritis Warriors!

Brianna Petersen
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Young Adult Honoree

Brianna’s journey began when she was 8 years old. At that time, many doctors thought she was just having growing pains. After seeing countless doctors, she went to orthopedics who said she had arthritis. Being a 9 year old at this point, her and her family didn’t know that was possible at that age. After being seen by an adult rheumatologist for years, she went to the U of M and received much more aggressive treatment. Now, Brianna is 23 and has never been in remission but that is a goal her and her adult rheumatologist have in sight!
