Event Information

The Arthritis Foundation’s original Jingle Bell Run is a fun way to get decked out and be festive, while racing to raise funds and awareness to cure America’s #1 cause of disability. 

 

We are closely monitoring the weather for Saturday, December 9 and how it may impact our 2023 Jingle Bell Run as our primary goal is to ensure a safe event for everyone.

At this time, the event will go on rain or shine! If there is severe inclement weather (thunderstorms, tornados, etc.) and we need to cancel, we will post on social media. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for most up to date information.

Houston Sports Park is a new construction and therefore will not register on many GPS devices. Using the address 1990 Airport Boulevard, Houston, TX 77045 is the closest street address that can be programmed into a GPS device.

Directions:

From the North:
Exit Highway 288 at Airport Boulevard. Turn right at the exit ramp light, and pass HCC Campus. Turn left on Kirby Drive after 1/4 mile, enter HSP after 300 yards.

From the South:
Exit Highway 288 at Airport Boulevard. Turn left at the exit ramp light, and pass under 288. Turn left on Kirby Drive after 1/4 mile, enter HSP after 300 yards.

5:30 a.m. – Arrival time for Set-up & Event-day Volunteers
6:00 – 6:30 am – Top Fundraising Teams with Tailgate tents
7:00 a.m. – Runner Registration Begins
8:15 a.m. – Program Start Time
9:00 a.m.- Gunshot start for participating timed runners
9:15 a.m. - Start time for participating untimed runners

Packet Pickup

  • Tuesday, December 5 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 
    • Three Thousand Sage Apartments (leasing office area): 3000 Sage, Houston, TX 77056
  • Wednesday, December 6 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. 
    • Holler Brewing Company: 2206 Edwards Street, Suite A, Houston, TX 77007
  • Packet pickup on race morning will open at 7:00 a.m. at Houston Sports Park.

  • Due to restrictions at our venue, we cannot accommodate dogs/pets.

  • Award Categories & Top Finisher Information:
    • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place (male and female) medals in each age group:
    • 9 and under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; and 80 and over
    • Top Finisher under age 40 - YMCA Annual Membership 
    • Top Finishers age 40+ - YMCA Annual Membership
    • All finishers will receive a commemorative 2023 Jingle Bell Run participant waterproof decal sticker.

5K Timed – Includes shirt and jingle bells.

$35 - Until Aug. 31 at 11:59 p.m. 
$40 - Sept. 1 to Oct. 31 at 11:59 p.m.
$45 - Nov. 1 to Dec. 8
$50 - Dec. 9 (day of event)

5K Untimed – Includes shirt and jingle bells.

$30 - Until Aug. 31 at 11:59 p.m. 
$35 - Sept. 1 to Oct. 31 at 11:59 p.m.
$40 - Nov. 1 to Dec. 8
$45 - Dec. 9 (day of event)

Virtual Jingler - Can’t attend the event, but still want to be part of the fun? Choose this option to receive a shirt and fundraise for a cure!
$25 - Until Aug. 31 at 11:59 p.m.
$30 - Sept. 1 to Dec. 9 (day of event)

Registration fees and donations cannot be refunded. Your fundraising dollars are put to work immediately and enable the Arthritis Foundation to continue critical programs and services in our community.
