Todd Daugherty, MD

Medical Honoree


Todd Daugherty, MD, is a board-certified rheumatologist who has special interest in musculoskeletal and immune system disorders. Dr. Daugherty earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his residency in medicine/pediatrics at Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio and in internal medicine at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He also completed a fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Vermont, Burlington, Vermont. He earned his BA from Miami University and MBA from Indiana University. His practice New England Rheumatology & Osteoporosis is in the beautiful small New England Town of Henniker, NH.

 

Mackenzie Briley, DC, CACCP

Dr. Mackenzie Briley, DC, CACCP is a certified Pediatric and Perinatal Chiropractor serving the Seacoast New Hampshire community. She opened LIFE Chiropractic NH in Stratham, January 2022 and has been providing chiropractic care for the entire family, with a mission for creating a healthier family-centered community and helping others discover health to get back to any and every activity they enjoy or dream of doing through chiropractic care. Born and raised in Seacoast NH, she enjoys going to the beach in the summer and skiing in the winter, making the most of all that NH has to offer with her husband, Adam.

Harmony Fowler
Rheumatoid and Psoriatic Arthritis
Adult Honoree


Harmony Fowler, of Mason, NH, grateful wife of Jim and mother of beautiful daughters: Naomi, Julianne, and Lillian, has both rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic Arthritis. Diagnosed at age 30 but 90% controlled over the last five years. For Harmony: 43 truly IS the new 23! She holds a certificate in Biblical Studies from BICS and a BA in Music from WCC. She joyfully serves as the choral conductor at Bethany Covenant Church. She values faith, friendships, volunteering, cooking, travel, Canada, and tea. Harmony passionately advocates for her neurodiverse children. She’s honored to help represent the New Hampshire “Spoonie” community in 2023.

Mckenzie Rowbotham
Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis
Young Adult Honoree


Mckenzie Rowbotham is a 21 year old Music and Theatre major, Spanish and Criminology minor at Saint Michael’s College in Vermont. She was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and linear scleroderma at age four, though had been showing symptoms at 18 months. She is currently the president of the Drama Club at SMC, a music director for the Sleepless Knights a-cappella group, an Honors Program mentor, a resident assistant, and an avid performer within the arts program. She is so thankful for her third opportunity to be a Walk to Cure Arthritis Honoree!

Alejandra Bermudez
Juvenile Arthritis
Youth Honoree


Alejandra is a smart, vibrant 12 year old girl from Laconia, NH. She was diagnosed with joint hypermobility syndrome (JHS) at the age of 8. Ale experiences fatigue, pain and recurrent injuries. Despite these challenges, Ale does not let JHS stop her from all the things she loves. Alejandra is an honor roll student, plays flute in the band and is an amazing sister, cousin and friend. As a first-time camper at Camp Dartmouth-Hitchcock last summer, Ale made lasting friendships, gained confidence and overcame obstacles with her peers. Alejandra hopes to be a Camp Dartmouth-Hitchcock counselor one day.

Veronica Sarno
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Youth Honoree


Veronica is a sunny 5 year old from Bedford, NH. She was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) at the age of 4. Despite having joint pain, going to frequent appointments, and taking medications she is like other children her age. Veronica loves princesses, rainbows, art, and taking silly pictures. She is the best big sister to her two little brothers and cat Sophie. Veronica is independent and learning to be a strong self-advocate through her JIA journey. She enjoys going to preschool and is beyond excited to start Kindergarten in the Fall.
