Eastyn Traupel
Extended Oligoarticular Juvenile Arthritis
Youth Honoree

Eastyn is a nine year old who lives in Salem, South Dakota. When he was in 2nd grade, he started having swelling, stiffness and pain in many of his joints on his right side. He was diagnosed with extended oligoarticular juvenile arthritis. Eastyn is also ANA positive-which means he has inflammation in his eyes. Having arthritis slowed Eastyn down and started to limit some of his activities. Now, with the help of the doctors, he is learning how to manage and is gaining his confidence back. Eastyn plays baseball, flag football and is active in 4-H and archery. Being involved with the Arthritis Foundation has helped him to understand that he isn’t alone.

Support Eastyn and team, Eastyn's Elves, on his personal fundraising page.
