Dr. Julie Yip is a Milford, CT resident and is proud to help keep her community healthy and active as a rheumatologist at New Haven Rheumatology. In addition to her rheumatology practice, Dr. Yip holds a voluntary faculty appointment at Yale School of Medicine and is on the attending staff at Yale New Haven Hospital. Originally from New York, she enjoys expanding her gardens (and mini farm) and searching for hidden culinary gems throughout Connecticut with her husband and daughter. She looks forward to keeping both her practice and community moving towards good health!

Jennifer’s diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis wasn’t discovered until her mid-30’s. She has struggled for years with the cycle of symptoms that would appear and disappear, only to re-appear. After years of testing and therapies she can happily say that she has seen a great improvement and is able to effectively manage her flare-ups. She’s thankful for the Arthritis Foundation's educational resources and events because they bring people together to support one another through their journey.

Jennifer keeps a smile on her face because she believes there’s always something positive to focus on and there’s always someone who could use your smile to brighten their day.
