Paisley Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis Child Honoree As Paisley began kindergarten, she was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Now at 6 years old, Paisley is adamant about continuing to play sports and remain active, something her aggressive treatment plan has allowed her to do. Despite constant tests, weekly injections, and life changes, Paisley continues to advocate for herself and her body, and never lets it stop her, but champions on, making connections and educating others about JIA as she goes. Paisley is full of strength, courage, and shines charisma despite her diagnosis and all its challenges. Paisley and her family are extremely grateful for the Arthritis Foundation and all the connections, educational information, assistance, and friendships it has brought into their lives and their journey with JIA.
