Claire was officially diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis in 2019 but has been living with joint pain for as long as she can remember. Although she still struggles with pain and swelling, Claire doesn’t let it stop her from doing the things she loves like sports and art. For years, Claire was very active in competitive basketball, but switched to competitive swimming in 2022 and is now a member of the Broomfield High School Swim Team. Claire participated in the virtual Juvenile Arthritis Camp in 2020 was very excited to attend Camp in person in 2022. She had so much fun at Juvenile Arthritis Camp she can’t wait to go again in 2023 where she will undoubtedly expand her passion for art!
