2022 Jingle Bell Run Honorees

Greta Goss
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Young Adult Honoree

Greta was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis over one year ago when her joints began to ache each morning, hindering her ability to complete everyday tasks. Though her path to recovery has felt long and is not over, she has been fortunate enough to access the care and medication required to alleviate the pain. Greta wants everyone to know that many others do not have this ability; that's why the Arthritis Foundation raises money to advance arthritis treatments and find a cure, plus develop resources and take action that improves the lives of people with arthritis. "Participate in the Jingle Bell Run to help us make a difference!"

Hallie
Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis
Teen Honoree

Hallie thought arthritis was a disease for the elderly until she was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA) in the spring of 2021. In 2020 she began to experience pain in her hands. After several months of tests and scans, during which time her symptoms spread to her feet, she was diagnosed with JRA. Through medication, regular physical and occupational therapy she is able to control her symptoms. Now she wants to help other kids with this disease. That is why Hallie is honored to be the teen representative for the Jingle Bell Run this year.
