Penelope Alberts
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Youth Honoree

Penny Alberts was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) at the age of two. Battling JIA from such a young age has been difficult but has also made her stronger. Penny loves school and playing sports, her favorite being softball. She loves art, animals, nature, and spending time with her two younger sisters. Penny and her family are very excited to participate in this year’s first Walk to Cure Arthritis in Savannah, GA, their hometown! It is important to Penny and her loved ones to not only be a part of this to support her fellow warriors but also to be an advocate and spread awareness about this debilitating disease.

Join or support Penelope and her team, Super Penny, on her personal fundraising page.
