Connor
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Teen Honoree

Meet Connor, our Teen Honoree! He is 17 years old, a high school senior, and has had juvenile idiopathic arthritis since 8. He likes to swim and sail competitively and enjoys skiing and boating. But he wasn’t able to participate in sports; his arthritis caused severe pain in his legs and wasn’t able to run like others. But, working with doctors, using different medications and treatments, he is able to enjoy activities again. Connor’s goal is to bring awareness that kids get arthritis too and the complications arthritis can cause. He wants to support ongoing research to work on better treatments for arthritis, especially for kids!
