Trow Gillespie
Systematic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Youth Honoree

Trow Gillespie, son of Paul and Paige Gillespie, is an almost four-year-old, diagnosed with Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis in 2019 at 22 months.  Trow struggled with gross motor skills, like walking, but it wasn’t until he developed a migrating rash and a low-grade fever that his parents dug further.

Months of doctor visits, X-rays, MRIs, and lab work, led to his diagnosis.  He is responding very well to his treatment, and the family hopes for control of his disease.  Today, you wouldn’t even realize he has arthritis.  Trow is an active, rambunctious boy who loves to play sports and chase his two sisters around the house!
